This home was built in the 1950's. Here you can see the original tiles for the shower and floor.
Original bathroom vanity and window with the traditional soap holder attached to the wall.
We started to tear down the tile and as you can see it was built to last. Wire lathing and felt paper behind to block moisture.
All of the tile on the walls were installed the same way, it took a lot of elbow grease to get these tile removed.
Once all the tile was removed, it was time to remove the tub and floor tile.
The closet wall was reconstructed, the wall behind the tub was also rebuilt and extended.
The walls are up, it's time to paint.
After painting we could finally lay some floor tile.
We used 12x24 inch porcelain tile for the floor with 16th inch spacers. Almost the entire floor is heated as well with the Schluter Ditra heat system.
Beautifully laid and level tiles are comfortable on the eyes and feet.

Three shower niches on each side of the soaking tub. You can never have too much space in your shower.
The floor and walls have 12x24 inch porcelain tile and the accent wall has 24x48 inch porcelain tile.
This shower system has six jets, a handheld sprayer, and a rain shower head.
Soaking tub and toilet in, time for the sliding soft-close shower door.
The chandelier over the soaking tub added a luxurious touch to this bathroom. The towel bars installed on the wall to the right are heated.
This vanity had plenty of room underneath and the customer was so excited to use their new bathroom they already began placing new items. Can you blame them?
A beautiful chandelier that adds that luxurious vibe.
The finished product with all the lights on, of course you can pick and choose which one stays on.
The window was replaced in this bathroom and the mirror had anti-fog capabilities and three different lighting temperatures.
